It started in 2015 by one man Ar. Ketham Santosh Kumar (founder and principal) with few people now with a team of 49.

Thinking hand is an effort to bring awareness on design and its processes through design workshops, discussions, lectures and competitions. It is a platform to learn, exhibit and share ideas /experiences through design. Learning with others and learning with self-exploration is the main motto. It aims to bring in importance of Design as a profession and inculcate sensitivity towards nature and people. It shall develop eclecticism in the participants and bridges the gap between participant’s imagining mind and the outcome he/she produces.

Earlier Thinking Hand NGO and Ketham’s Atelier empowered more than 3000 people through more than 13 workshops, exhibition, sessions, international competitions and now building 1:1 for neglected communities to empower people and society through design and innovation building.
